Reflections

Keaton: This marking period Keaton continued to work on the various aspects needed for his end of the year animation which for this marking period meant he was exploring how to make music. Furthermore, Keaton continued to model props needed for his animation like a car and a knife. After getting this stuff done Keaton feels like he has made substantial progress in his animation and that he feels prepared to work on the animation. Also, Keaton started to experiment with vector graphs and has make really cool posters with what he has learned.

 Sofia: This marking period, Sofia stayed away from the more serious films last marking period and began to work on more lax and comical films because she thinks they are fun to make. Sofia worked with Caden on a script for a sequel to Spy Child that they are still working on. Next, Sofia made a third episode to her series Bourgious Boiz where she learned that she definitely has a lot more fun making videos like this and wants to continue with this style.

 Vivian: This marking period Vivian began to work on her second animation which she plans to be shorter than her first one. To speed up the process, Vivian reused her model from the last animation and just changed minor details to it like giving it a dress and changing the hair up by using bezier curves. Vivian also worked on creating the different animals in her animation and rigging them. Vivian is going to continue animating the animals next marking period and wants to work on color next marking period with her animation.

Shriya : This marking Shriya continued to work on her animation. Shriya focused more on making her animation look more appealing by adding feathers to the phoenix and scales to the hippocampus. Shriya has also worked on creating a fire effect to make the aesthetic to the animation better. Shriya has also learned to work with particle systems during this process. Lastly, Shriya started to branch out and experiment with adobe programs like photoshop where she is learning to draw images on a computer and character animator where she is learning to 2D animate characters as well.

 Blaze: This marking period, Blaze has returned to modeling various items so he can factory style print them and sell them at the district arts festival. To gain inspiration Blaze uses his interests and looks for what he is missing and wants in these games and creates that. Blaze decide to model a dragon claw holding an eye. To help him imagine this better Blaze used references so he can have a better understanding as to what people see is a dragon claw. Also, Blaze created really cool coins. Next marking Blaze plans on improving the quality of the items he has and will begin printing for the art festival.
