One of the biggest challenges while making the hard surface model was making the violin look real. I do play the violin so when making it I realized some parts of the violin that I didn't even notice before. I also had trouble making the body look like a realistic shiny as I noticed while observing other's violins during orchestra that violins have a different level of shiny to them based on the violin and I had to determine which one I wanted.
